Hi! I’m Maud Pfeiffer – artist, illustrator, graphic designer and printmaker. My work grows out of a visual diary: a collection of everyday impressions, shapes and patterns that catch my eye. Nature is my greatest source of inspiration, especially botanical forms. The rhythm of leaves, the repetition in veins and stems – they tell stories of growth, balance and change.
I translate these observations into various types of art, graphic prints, patterns and illustrations. Sometimes clean and minimal, sometimes layered and playful. My designs appear on canvas, paper, wallpaper, textiles or postcards – always with an eye for detail and natural calm.
What I create is not a literal representation of nature, but a reflection. A way to slow down and notice what often goes unseen. In my work, I look for the balance between the organic and the graphic, between spontaneity and structure.
